Dr. Richard Bowater Dr. Paul Ó Maille Richard Kelwick
A senior lecturer at the University of East Anglia in the School of Biological Sciences. Richard specialises in Biochemistry, and is currently leading a research team at the UEA. This work studies the macromolecular interactions of DNA repair mechanisms in bacteria, in particular focusing on DNA ligases. A project leader at the John Innes Centre and the Institute of Food research (both located on the Norwich research Park). Paul specialises in plant Biochemistry, and his current research team is studying the secondary metabolites produced in plants and how these have evolved over time. In particular, Paul focuses on Turpenes, a group of phytochemicals with a wide range of potential applications. Doctoral Student, Cancer Research at the University of East Anglia. My research is centered around understanding the role of proteases in breast cancer. I am interested in elucidating the tumour suppressor functions of several metalloproteinases, particularly ADAMTS15.
