Visitors at NASA

We were fortunate this summer to meet a number of NASA officials as they passed through our lab. We explained to them the basic concept of our research and our vision for synthetic biology as the keystone to extraterrestrial settlement and exploration. Of course, we also communicated our enthusiasm for synthetic biology! Our visitors this summer included:

  • The NASA Advisory Council
  • Charles Bolden, Administrator of NASA
  • Members from Representative Zoe Lofgren's office
