Introduction
Biosensor is a novel mechanism of FRET reporting using engineered parts of the bacterial cellulosome in the form of cohesin-dockerin pairs. We will create a two cohesin complex to bring together constitutive RFP and CFP reporters bound to dockerins. The cohesin complex will cause FRET reporting that should be faster than traditional methods which require maturation of GFP-based reporters.
