The UBC iGEM 2011 team has initiated an <a href="http://openwetware.org/wiki/IGEM_Outreach:iGEM_Dictionary">iGEM dictionary</a>, contributed <a href="http://openwetware.org/wiki/IGEM_Outreach:Life_in_the_Lab">mentorship and outreach resources</a> to CommunityBricks, collaborating with many iGEM teams to promote outreach and human practices! On our wiki, you can read about our <a href="https://2011.igem.org/Team:British_Columbia/Mentorship">mentorship endeavors</a> and <a href="https://2011.igem.org/Team:British_Columbia/Perceptions">annual analysis of public perception</a>. In addition, since our project ultimately seeks to use synthetic yeast to tackle the pine beetle epidemic in North America, we have initiated a discourse on the release of synthetic biology into the open, interviewing several experts in the field regarding this topic.
