TEAM PROFILES

Dr. Didier Bernache

Didier Bernache is a civil mining engineer (1971) with a PhD in chemistry (1977). He has been a professor in chemistry and physics for 24 years at [http://www.unilim.fr Limoges University] (France). He is currently the research director at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne ([http://www.emse.fr EMSE]). He has supervised 22 PhD students, participate in 4 patents and 150 international publications. His research interest and teaching include the understanding of powders activity for medical applications and now Synthetic Biology!

Together with Dr. Renato Vicentini, he was really supportive for the bi-national team creation.
