Antibiotics experiment

All mixtures were spotted on LB+IPTG plated at 37 degrees and then replicated on plate containing both antibiotics, chloramphenicol and Kanamycin.

  • M1 is a mixture of SB463 bacillus strain, harboring chloramphenicol resistance, and SB513 B.subtilis strain, which is resistant to Kanamycin.
  • M2 is a mixture of SB463 bacillus strain, which is resistant to chloramphenicol, and K12 E.coli strain (S33), which is resistant to Kanamycin.
  • M3 is a mixture of K12 E.coli strain (S34), harboring chloramphenicol resistance, and SB513 B.subtilis strain, which is resistant to Kanamycin.
  • M4 is a mixture of K12 E.coli strain(S34), harboring chloramphenicol resistance, and K12 E.coli strain (S33), which is resistant to Kanamycin.
  • SB 463, SB 513, S34 and S33 are negative controls
Antibiotic Experiments all mixtures

We use 6µg/mL concentration of both Antibiotics and 100µg/mL of IPTG on LB Agar plate.
