Purpose:
-Miniprep and PCR liquid culture to test whether the ompA insert was successfully inserted into the pBAD plasmid
-The 2nd liquid culture was a backup in case the results show negative (no ompA insert).
Procedures:
-Miniprep as usual
-Used ompA primers to test miniprep DNA using PCR
-Started 2 liquid cultures from colonies of the 2nd transformation.
Results:
-Miniprep concentration=30.1 ng/ul
-The liquid cultures failed
