Workshop Concept

With the help workshop we intend not only to inform as many people as possible about synthetic biology but we also want to encourage them to start a thinking process. By giving them background information as well as examples of synthetic biology a basis for further discussions about ethics as well as security and safety is laid.

Report First Workshop

Our first workshop took place on Friday, September 2, in the Biocenter of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University. Our participants, aged 18 to ??? had little (based on high school) to no knowledge about the basics of molecular biology.
