Arabidopsis is a common plant model organism. <br><br>

Arabidopsis will be used as our model plant for plant-bacteria interactions. We will be using wt plants do replicate the results described by Paungfoo-Lonhienne et al. (2010) and demonstrate that we can get plant roots to take up bacteria. <br><br>

We will use DR5:GFP and DR5:3XVENUS plants that respond to auxin by expression of GFP and YFP, respectively, to look at the plant response to synthetic auxin and later bacteria-secreted auxin.
