iGEM Regional Jamboree Americas
The [http://www.ibe.org Institute of Biological Engineering (IBE)] is excited and proud to be the host of the iGEM 2011 Americas Regional Jamboree in Indianapolis, IN from October 8-10, 2011. Over 70 teams will be participating and competing at the Americas Jamboree for a chance at a spot at the World Championships! We look forward to seeing you in Indianapolis in October.

The Americas Jamboree will take place in downtown Indianapolis, IN at the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) University Place Conference Center & Hotel and at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.
Unlike most downtowns, [http://www.visitindy.com/ Indianapolis] comes alive after dark—especially in the blocks surrounding the Jamboree location. Over 200 restaurants and clubs, live music and shows, and a four-story shopping mall are all right there, in the heart of everything, when you're ready to relax or have some fun. And when you're ready to go back to your room, you just stand up and walk there—it's a campus-like feel, with no tedious shuttling back and forth through endless traffic.
