This brief slide show is intended to reflect our ambition to make use of our tradition and history in our ceaseless efforts to move forward and innovate.The music is a sampler from our own orchestra the Royal Academic Orchestra.

Biology Education Centre : IBG

IBG is the central administrative organisation for all undergraduate and master level education within biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics at Uppsala University. More than 100 different courses are arranged by us yearly, and almost 2000 students attend our courses during some part of the year. The majority of teachers are directly involved in scientific projects at the university, implying high quality courses closely connected to ongoing research and recent findings.

Our special thanks to biology education center, providing funding for the registration fees, chemicals and lab equipment.

Department of Cell and Molecular Biology

We would like to thank the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology at Uppsala University,specially Professors Anders Virtanen from Chemical Biology and Anthony C. Forster from Molecular biology for supervising the team.

Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology

We also want to thank the Dan Andersson group at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology at Uppsala University for providing the instructor Erik Gullberg and letting us use their lab equipment.
