iGEM Medals for Software Teams We believe our team deserves the following medal:Silver Because we met the following criteria (check all that apply and provide details where needed) Requirements for a Bronze Medal: 1.Register the team, have a great summer, and plan to have fun at the Jamboree. 2.Successfully complete and submit this iGEM 2011 Judging form. 3.Create and share a Description of the team's project using the iGEM wiki. 4.Present a Poster and Talk at the iGEM Regional Jamboree. 5.Develop and make available via The Registry of Software Tools an open source software tool that supports synthetic biology based on BioBrick standard biological parts. Remember, the iGEM judges will be looking for substantial team-based software projects. Link to your page describing how to get this software: iGEM Wiki Page Name: None To earn a Silver Medal, in addition to the Bronze Medal requirements, a team must do ONE of the following: Provide a detailed, draft specification for the next version of your software tool. Provide a second, distinct software tools project. iGEM Wiki Page Name: None To earn a Gold Medal, in addition to the Bronze and SIlver Medal Requirements, a team must: Have another team utilize the software developed by your team. You must clearly show how your software was used and the results that were obtained. iGEM Wiki Page Name: None AND Outline and detail how your project effects Human Practice in Synthetic Biology. Such topics include: safety, security, ethics, or ownership, sharing, and innovation. iGEM Wiki Page name: None AND Either develop a new standard or use SBOL Develop and document a new technical standard that supports the: (check all that apply) design of BioBrick Parts or Devices, or construction of BioBrick Parts or Devices, or characterization of BioBrick Parts or Devices, or analysis, modeling, and simulation of BioBrick Parts or Devices, or sharing BioBrick Parts or Devices, either via physical DNA, or as information via the Internet If you documented your new standard with a BBF RFC, please provide the RFC number: In place of developing a new standard, a team may instead use SBOL in its software documentation. iGEM Prizes All teams are eligible for special prizes at the Regional Jamborees.
