Contribution

The chance to be part of this competition, of this incredible project incorporating- well organization, teamwork, know-how, time management, budget management, independent working, communication, synthetic biology -sympathy and -enthusiasm would never have been come without the endorsement on time and valuable advice of our supervisors Prof. Dr. Katja Arndt and Dr. Kristian Müller. We cordially owe our deepest gratitude to Katja and Kristian .
We are also extremely thankful to Prof. Elke Dittmann and her team providing us the microviridin gene cluster and their precious advices and support throughout the journey right from the beginning.
Among the crews at the University of Potsdam we want to express our gratitude to the research group of Gunter Stier making a TEV protease available, the group of Prof. Steup and Dr. Fettke for the support with MS analysis and last but not least the team of Prof. Walz giving us the opportunity to use their fluorescence microscope. Additionally are we very thankful to the groups of Prof. Dittmann, Prof. Ignatova and Prof. Seckler for their greatness to afford us to use their autoclaves.
Ultimately, we are greatly thankful to Tim, Tobi and Sven, PhD. students of Katja and Kristian, for their encouragement. We know, it wasn't always easy with us, hereby we formally apologize but for your patience and your diffidence we also want to say a huge THANK YOU!

This is a template page. READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
You are provided with this team page template with which to start the iGEM season. You may choose to personalize it to fit your team but keep the same "look." Or you may choose to take your team wiki to a different level and design your own wiki. You can find some examples HERE.
You MUST have a team description page, a project abstract, a complete project description, a lab notebook, and a safety page. PLEASE keep all of your pages within your teams namespace.

You can write a background of your team here. Give us a background of your team, the members, etc. Or tell us more about something of your choosing.

Tell us more about your project. Give us background. Use this is the abstract of your project. Be descriptive but concise (1-2 paragraphs)
