Methods and Protocols

Week 1: 6/15-6/17: Lab orientation

Week 2: 6/19-6/25: Lab training; sample collection, enrichment cultures, DNA extraction from samples

Week 3: 6/26-7/2: You should make use of the calendar feature on the wiki and start a lab notebook. This may be looked at by the judges to see how your work progressed throughout the summer. It is a very useful organizational tool as well.
