Holland
Take your chance to stay some days to explore Amsterdam outside the VU campus. Go to the historical town with nice cafés, bars and restaurants, renowned museums like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum. Check out the official webpage of Amsterdam for all attractions and events.
At October 3rd you should bring a visit to Leiden (city close to Amsterdam). Thousands of Leideners celebrating "Leids Ontzet", the liberation of Leiden from the Spanish over 400 years ago. The streets are filled DJs, bands and beer stands. A nice way to continue the Jamboree festivities.
World Championship Jamboree
After the European Jamboree, iGEM 2011 is not finished yet. The nominated teams at this Regional Jamboree will go to the World Championship at MIT on November 5-7, 2011. For information about the iGEM final Jamboree 2011 at MIT check wiki.
