mcell - A Multicellular Modeling Framework
mcell is a lightweight python framework for the management and analysis of flexible multicellular syn-biological models. mcell uses CompuCell3D to simulate cell dynamics using the Glazier-Graner-Hogeweg(CITE) method, and BionetSolver to simulate the internal states of cells with ODE models. As CompuCell3D is a mature, powerful system, this gives mcell highly sophisticated cell dynamics modeling capabilities.
