in TEKNOVASYON 2011 Project Competition

Our first action as METU-TEAM had two focus.
1) Raising funds for the team
2)getting the attention of researchers to synthetic biology applications.
So we have entered a nation-wide project competition organized by Hacettepe University with our project titled "GENETICALLY ENGINEERED MRSA BIOSENSOR BASED ON SYNTHETIC DNA TECHNOLOGY". We have been placed 5th place and got our first financial support for 2011 İGEM competition. "
