iGEM Collaboration
| iGEM Collaboration
| ||
We were in contact with Utah State throughout most of the project. We obtained parts from them, more than once, that were used in our synechocystis strain . Genes, such as Thi E and AGP, would have been very difficult to obtain without this partnership. Nevada was also in contact with the the Brown-Stanford iGEM for a short time. Their project consisted of working with cyanobacteria which is mostly what was collaborated on. Things like providing information on how to successfully transform the bacteria strain was useful for both teams. We attempted to stay in contact by sending emails to the Brown-Stanford team members throughout the summer. | We were in contact with Utah State throughout most of the project.
