For us the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP), run a iGEM Team was the dream of two visionaries and entrepreneur researchers, the engineer Grimaldo Elías Ureña & philosopher Lucia Palma. This dream come true when the president of the UTP the Honorable Marcela Paredez de Vazquez and their Admnistrative Staff Dr Martin Candanedo, Dr Humberto Álvarez, Dr Eleicer Ching & Dr Ignacio Chang, believe in the propousal presented by these visionaries and support them creating and suporting the UTP-Panamá Team in all that they can
