Created TENS

4.5 mL TE and

250uL 10% SDS

250uL 2N NaOH

-Spin 4 tubes (1.5mL) 30"

-Pour off sol'n & resuspend

-Add

300uL TENS: mix

150uL NaOC: mix

-Spin 2.5'

-Transfer supernatant to clean tube and add 1mL of EtOH

-Vortex and pellet DNA by centrifugation for 2.5mL
