Wednesday
Today we will make our first biobrick with the CYP 79A1 and finish the mutagenesis started yesterday.
Lab Work
- Digestion of our PCR products - see protocol Mutations
- Transformation of E.coli cells with the mutant plasmids - see protocol Transformations
- PCR on the purified mutant 79A1 CYP. By using our designed primers this will insert the suffix and prefix at each end of the CYP79A1, thus making it a biobrick.
Other Work
- We have send out e-mails to danish biotech companies in hope to achieve economical support.
