Frank Machin I'm Frank and I'm halfway through my degree in Biochemistry here at Imperial. I've been a huge fan of Synthetic Biology
Imperial College London Team member 1.png

ever since I watched The Andromeda Strain and The Day of the Triffids. When I'm not working, I like gaming, loud music, and making short films and I'm going to try and include them all in this project!

Rebekka Bauer I'm Rebekka and just finished a degree in Biology. I really like the creative aspect of synthetic biology but also how useful it can be in tackling problems in all kinds of areas. I am really into photography, cooking and travelling.

Atipat Patharagulpong My name is Atipat Patharagulpong and you can call me "Ming" which is my nickname. (People sometimes call me ATP which I find it a bit geeky :)) I am a third year Biochemist and I am very grateful to be a part of Imperial IGEM team and get to know awesome new friends. (especially you, Frank lol)

Apart from Biochemistry, I also love playing the piano, drawing anime, designing ads campaign for my friends and family, and also cooking !!! (including eating too :D)

Chris Schoene I'm Christopher Schoene and I'm currently going into my 3rd year of Biochemistry at Imperial College London. I've been interested in Synthetic Biology since the last year's team presented their project to us in October. My other interests include creative writing, martial arts, the classical guitar and traveling (I was born in Colombia, my parents are German and I have lived in the USA and Spain).

Nicolas Kral:Hey, I am Nick and I have just finished second year of Bsc Biology degree at Imperial. I have been attracted to synthetic biology, because of the immense potential and creativity that is hidden in it, yet still following the strict scientific thinking. My hobbies include everything to do with Nature and the great outdoors, hiking, climbing, caving and just the joy of being out.

Nikki Kapp I've just finished my undergrad in Biochemistry and thought I would try put what I've learnt into practice at iGEM. My life isn't science but syn bio is pretty awesome. I am passionate about music and find myself stuck in the 60s/70s. I'm also a professional gypsy and like to move as often as possible. I hope to soon do a round the world trip and complete the Mongol Rally.

Yuanwei Li Hello, my name is Yuanwei. I just finished the 2nd year of my biomedical engineering degree. I am probably going to specialise in the mechanical aspect of bioengineering, dealing with stuff like biomechanics, etc. I am also quite interested about going into the area of biomedical imaging. In my free time, I like to play my accordion and I love to travel to different places and explore the world. I am looking forward to delivering something amazing on this iGEM project.

Jiayue Zhu Guys, you can call me Nina to make your life easier since nobody pronounces my name correctly. I'm a 2nd year bioengineer.Very glad to be here with the team and to some amazing fancy stuff.

Si Chen Number 9,Hey, guys, I am Si Chen, just graduated from Biomedical Engineering Department of Imperial College London. I am looking forward to deliver some solid solution that can be applied in reality in future.

It doesn't have to go here, but I'm a bit tired and just wanted to make the code available to you guys so you can move it. We need to discuss the layout of the website, I am not doing this by myself!
