Grinnell College is a small, liberal arts school located in the beautiful and fun small town of Grinnell, IA.


Lisa Bowers

Advisor:

  • Lisa Bowers : Lisa recieved her Postdoctoral Fellow 2007-2010 from the University of California - Berkeley, Department of Plant and Microbial Biology and her Ph.D. in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Department of Microbiology. She is currently an assistant professor of Biology at Grinnell College teaching courses in Molecular Biology and Microbiology.


Undergrads:

Alex Aaring
  • Alex Aaring: Alex just finished his sophomore year at Grinnell College as a Biological Chemistry major. He originally hails from Eugene, OR.





Nora Kostow
  • Nora Kostow: Nora is a third year Biology major from New York, NY. She is interested in Genetics and Molecular Biology. She enjoys short bike rides, porches and cheesecake.





Qimeng Gao
  • Qimeng Gao: Qimeng will be a third year Biology major this coming fall. He is from Hangzhou, China.
