The life alchemists

Synopsis:
A theatre group explains the principles of synthetic biology in a comprehensive way.

7:15-7:20

Film 1
E-Chromi

Synopsis:
A short film describing the collaboration between designer/artist King & Ginsberg and the 2009 Cambridge University iGEM team.

Local Unit

Synopsis:
In 2072 all computers are made of protein. This is the story of how a man buys a black market brain.

Synopsis:
Advances in open source synthetic biology allow a young man to grow his very own action hero.

5 questions (the departure to an utopian synthetic biology future)

Synopsis:
The story explores the possible future for synthetic biology through an uncanny paradigm shift. This made it possible to create a synthetic world tailored to the holistic mindset of the anthroposophical society.

To overcome the economic crisis, old Gilles, a farmer from Troyes dans l’Aube, starts a mass production of “Parisians” destined for the Chinese market.
