Favourite Lab anecdote: It was a dark mysterious morning... Unclear sight was caused by the fog that still hung above the ground... Still being unaware of what had happened, I entered the Microbiology building... It was on this morning, that Dorett alarmed me about a spider that was found in one of the labs: A huge mutant spider!!! Well, that seemed to be the case until Jaap did some research and he discovered it was a Tegenaria atrica, a large common domestic spider in the Netherlands...
Favourite Lab apparatus: The PCR Thermal Cycler, after a confocal microscope of course; imagine the laborious steps you would have to take without it!
